Daytona (Harbor Freight) Jack Stand Storage Rack - PAIR

I swapped my 6-tons for the better build (same model number) and due to the heavier construction I was worried about the weight on my shelf.

Space is limited in my small 1-car garage so this mount was key to getting them off the floor.

Where I wanted to mount them was between two studs so I spanned it with 3/4" plywood and used 3/16" T-Nuts and bolted through the front along with lock washers to make sure the rack did not separate from the plywood. There are 6 mounting holes for each rack (1 rack = 2 jack stands) so 12 in total.

I then screwed the plywood using about ten 5/16" SPAX construction screws / lags. The rack is not going anywhere unless the wall comes down.

I'm a bit nervous that all that holds the jack stand is a small angle of the hook so I may run a cable through it just to be sure in case I bump one of the jack stands off.

Assembly was a bit annoying due to having to get tools into smaller places but it is very sturdy when assembled. I would have liked to see lock nuts on the hook bolts but the way the weight is loaded I don't think it will be an issue.

Spray painting wasn't fun and I doubt it will last in the areas that the jacks touch / rest on. I wish black powder coating was an option as it would have saved me a lot of time.

Overall a great product and it feels USA made vs. my other racks for the 3-ton jack stands that I got off Amazon. Due to the excessive weight of the 6-tons, I didn't want to take any chances.
